Booking a Breakfast Rate should most definitely include a good Breakfast. I wouldn’t consider Starbucks to be a Breakfast, especially at a HR.
I wonder how you’d even get the credit for Starbucks would they say here’s a $10 Starbucks Gift Card? Then if it’s a Family of 3, $30?
It just doesn’t make much sense to do that even.
It’s a sad state of affairs, just have to make the best of it. It’s good we have this forum to share experiences. That way people know about the gems still offering full breakfasts, properties not offering them, and those going above and beyond doing in room dining.
I have a few stays coming up, both rates booked include a Breakfast (also have Globalist status, but I figure a rate inclusive of breakfast shouldn’t exist without Breakfast), but both hotel’s Hyatt pages state restaurant closed.

I booked the included breakfast rate at an airport location. It was a toss up between a Hyatt place with a larger room or the days inn with an outside door and musky room. Both will have take away/grab and go, but I chose Hyatt even though it's a little more, I don't have to be concerned with the outside door situation and tiny room. Peace of mind is always my deciding factor, because shamefully the food will be the same as a if I stayed in the Days Inn motel.

That would be awesome, but I'm not counting on it. I don't think Hyatt's promotions this year have been all that impressive at least when compared to Marriott and Hilton. However, Globalist is a much better higher tier status. It will probably cost Hyatt a lot more money if they make it easier to get Globalist.
Considering its Hyatt and they don’t want things watered down maybe just do 50% Rollover Nights. 2021 will still be a hard year even if a vaccine comes earlier in the year.
That way they’re not giving an automatic extension as they did this year, but also encouraging stays this year and next year to requalify.
They could even cap it off at 30 Rollover night credits, so even if someone had earned 120 Elite Nights this year they’d only get 30 Rollover Nights.
I honestly think this would be better than double Double Night credits as the Double Night credits still come with Milestone Rewards. Whereas I’d say the Rollover Nights would count towards status, but not Milestones.
Just my thoughts.

Considering many people are counting on Double Elite Nights in Q4 (a promo which has happened as recently as last year with certain brands), I don’t see Rollover Nights as all that far fetched.

Thanks. You just steered me to Holiday Inn. Plus, holiday inn website it mentions breakfast you can take back to your room and warm up. So, it's something a little better than a yogurt and a muffin.
