Can we please not remove promos until they are over > 1 month, to allow people chasing points etc easy access.

I was reading somewhere that I could possibly turn my expired award night from February into Points. Does anyone have any resources for this? I was unable to use the night

Last I knew, only Globalists with a concierge were getting points for expired certificates, and only for non-Chase ones.

I'm Globalist, and this expired cert was earned via stays. I currently do not have the chase card. IDK if i should just try to call and ask? or if there's a certain process

Any global promotions going on? Bonus Journeys ended last month...was wondering if anything has replaced it that I missed.

I am just reviewing my Hyatt Bonus Journeys Promotion 2023 - March 20 to May 26 and think I crushed it and really loved this promo.
I do stay at a lot of Hyatts and love the brand, have their credit card, but always find hitting 60 nights a little bit of a challenge without promos
In summary, I booked a total of 33 nights during the promo
1 night is what I call the throw away night to start the program (booked Hyatt Place with 3,500 points)
5 nights was booked with cash
28 nights were booked with points
I used 113,000 points to book 28 nights
I got 45,000 points rebated from promo
I got another 1,000 points from cc promo
The net spent was 67,000 points for 28 nights = 2,393 points per night ~ about $40.68 per night depending on how you value the points
The cash rates were not tracked as some were for business and some pleasure and they were the nice Hyatt properties like Hyatt Regency or Kissel or Andaz, etc.
Most of the point stays were used at the Hyatt Place brand and cost usually 3,500 per night with a few nights at Hyatt House for 5,000 per night
I used the Hyatt app to checkin and checkout. I skipped housekeeping for Hyatt Place stays. In all honesty, I only stayed a night or two for some of the Hyatt Place stays that were originally booked for longer periods of time as I wanted to maximize the nights used at 3,500 points to hit 60 nights this year. I did not have any issues with using the app for checkin or checkout.
As far as the other Hyatt stays, I have been getting upgrades about 75% of the time and in all instances, the early checkin and late checkout features have been fantastic perks for my style of travel. Most Hyatts have been really great, with a few small issues at Hyatt Places as I assume they just don't get a lot of Globalists and some are getting a little dated.
I usually complete the survey if I am really happy or if something could be improved such as parking, lighting, or service issues. Hyatt usually responds in a day or so if needed. Who knows if they will take any of my suggestions for improvement or not, but at least they seem to care in the response.
I am also Hilton Diamond, BUT get much better value and perks with my Hyatt Globalist status and am super happy that I will have Hyatt Globalist locked in until 2025 and hope they offer a similar promo in 2024.

Just came across this new promotion on the website: Exclusive Offer | Europe, Africa, Middle East & Asia Pacific | Hyatt Hotels

This works out well for me because I have a few nights in early July on an award stay, followed by a second stay (paid) in Asia. But in general, I'm not a huge fan of these promos starting only with the second stay. Especially for a promotion that lasts only 10 weeks.
