Is it just me or is this hotel just NOT attracting guests at all? The deals are flying, and yet, no one seems to want to stay there.

Well, the $50 spa credit won't likely get you far to cover the cost of a massage or facial. They don't even list prices for treatments, so you know they're going to be outrageously expensive.

I find it an amazing hotel. Location-wise, The Palazzo is a little better, but I liked the service at the Trump better. We got $50 in dining credit for waiting 1 hour to get checked in, and got an upgrade to nice bigger suite at the 57th floor

There's no casino at Trump. Most people go to LV to gamble and like to 'play where they stay.'

Personally quite liked this hotel, especially that it had to casino. A small walk off the strip but not too bad at all.

Bring your earplugs if you stay here. It's next to the train tracks and you can hear the whistle blowing and police car sirens all night. I would read the tripadvisor reports before you make reservations.

For a supposed 5* hotels, it's sorely misses the mark. I stayed here over Easter weekend and the service level is deplorable because they are understaffed because they had to curtail costs due to low occupancy. The concerige had a line a mile long and asked guest to leave their phone number so that she can call back when it was more convenient for her. Can you imagine the comments this illicited.

Also, there is a hidden $15 resort fee for the use of a tiny pool that is so hot because the tacky gold mirrored glass from the building magnifies the desert sun, valet parking because there is no self parking and two bottles of water. It's really quite insulting. They make you initial that you have been told about this hidden resort fee when you check in.

Good going, Donald.

Is the AMEX promo a private promo or for anyone that pays with AMEX?

Stayed at the Trump Las Vegas last night, May 19, 2009.

Is very nice. Our one BR suite was pretty much interchangeable with the same room at the MGM Signature.

I think the MGM rates are usually lower, but my wife likes the location of the Trump across the street from the Fashion Mall.

It is also walking distance to the Museum of Erotic History which was unfortunately closed when I was there.

I stayed at the Trump in March and thought it was great. I got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite on the 47th floor over looking the strip. I had a very good experience with the service, checked in and to my room within 10 minutes of exiting the cab. It's a very short walk to casino's, and they also offered a free shuttle service for those who didn't want to walk.
