F&F worked at Waikiki Beachcomber, no voucher needed. Am Plat so nicely asked for ocean view, but received a room that even a giraffe would not consider an ocean view. Parking charged to room, but got no points for stay. Biggest plus: received a 6 pm checkout.

F&F waives the Amb benefits and credit to your account (unless they screw up).

In my experience it's an unpredictable system due to local interpretation of the program, and ranges from 3 cupcakes to a full upgrade to the Presidential Suite, both of which I have experienced. So if you always fly to Toronto you get the cupcakes, better to fly to Porto for the giant two story suite upgrade. Closer to home I spend a week every year at NYC Times Sq. IC and always get top floor great views and 'Thanks for being an Ambassador'. I've been able to stack with F&F no problem.

I gave up my Ambassador as worthless on many occasions. Better booking with Virtuoso (and getting upgrade plus) or I just booked F&F in Singapore 6 Jan Club Room which was better than using Virtuoso agent.
