Ya, the waits are brutal. Due to the pain in the a** factor, I barely use the BRG anymore. Cell on speaker, a good game on the TV, & a couple adult beverages make the procedure much more palatable. If they jack me around more than usual, I cancel the reservation too.

Used the $20 PL credit to book a 4* Hong Kong hotel for three nights and now I'll use $30 of the $50 credit from this PL offer to book three nights in Tokyo. With these two, the Concorde Singapore deal and Priority Club points to get the Crowne Plaza Changi for my last night in Singapore, I'll have a very cheap award trip to SE Asia.

Thanks, CalItalian.

BE SURE TO READ THE T&Cs...

This rate is based on double occupancy; guests traveling alone (as I often do) will pay a single supplement equal to the one free night. No deal for solo travelers.

That being said... thanks for posting OP! It certainly will help many in reaching the 10 nights for Crack the Case but earn fewer FFN.

Where does it say this?

Everything I can see it's a "Per Room, Per Night" with no mention of single supplement. Single supplements only make sense when it's a per person rate, not a per room rate.

It says "based on" so I wouldn't fret it if you travel solo. You can book for two but I don't think they will make you produce the extra body.

Is there a matching offer for the US? No US makes me sad.

Has anybody actually done a *hotels.com BRG? Is the coupon the same as XP or is it a "surprise" coupon with mystery restrictions you don't find out about until you get it? I was thinking of doing one today, I need to hone my "sitting for hours listening to hold music" skills.

*I don't think I'm thinking of hotels.com.... it was another site

I haven't done a hotel.com BRG, but on the hotel.com uk website I read the restriction that they will refund you the difference between your final price (i.e. applied a discount code) and the other price...

Thanks for posting! Although it said the qualifying booking has to be $1000, I think it will be useful for someone... also there is a $100 coupon on expedia.de as well!^
