The site of veepee.de is offering a 5% discount for musement.com which seems to be identical to go-tui.de just with another name.
URL for discount is needed: veepee-reisen.musement.com - voucher there is VEEPEEDE5MUS
valid to 30.06.22

Has hotels.com eliminated its discount codes? I was using a 10% military discount with id.me, and the link still exists, but it doesn't generate a code. And I don't see any other codes on the web.

Late response...but it looks like even though the page remains, that it indeed no longer works (I tried my first responder discount just now). id.me DOES offer a cashback portal for Hotels.com - which is currently 2%. May not sound like much, but it could be more than the other portals you use regularly (Topcashback, HooplaDoopla, & Rakuten for me). For posterity or in case it reactivates, the landing page is here - https://www.hotels.com/page/idme-validation/ and on the other side, here - https://shop.id.me/stores/240-hotels-com

Other discounts include -

Target - At one point you could get like 10% off by going through a link in your RedCard account with the downside that you didn't earn reward night credit - then it died. There was another 10% off offer until earlier this year and the page is still up, but it's obviously expired. https://www.hotels.com/page/target/

Students - This page is still active with current dates, I am not a student though to test it (edit other locations online suggest it's 10%, unclear if you still get stamps) - https://www.hotels.com/page/student-discount/

Rebate For Longer Stays - This one runs frequently and gets refreshed not too long after the dates run out typically. Almost always the same format. You can maximize this by breaking up the stay if you hit some odd break points usually. Usually starts at 3 night stays (like $20 rebate) and maxes at 12 nights ($100 rebate). Find it here currently (the url can change every so often I've found if it's showing as expired, so google "hotels.com rebate" in that case) - https://www.hotels.com/page/rebate/

Double/Extra Stamps - This runs every so often and simply gives you extra stamps. It sometimes has property exclusions. Basically you either get double stamps or a bonus stamp on a stay. Sometimes has minimum stay lengths and maximum stamps (ie double on first 5 nights only). Can usually work around by breaking up the stay to maximize these if you want. There was one running last weekend. It often requires you to book on their app instead of the website.

General % discounts - They used to run these more regularly until about 2018. They have been much rarer since. There have been some targeted ones (a 10% off for Mastercard holders in 2020 for example). They ran one in Jan of this year. The format was a special promo code for 5% off. Despite the name of the URL, it appeared like it worked fine for everyone and gave stamps. Link here for posterity - https://www.hotels.com/page/january-coupon-non-member/ with terms - https://www.hotels.com/booking/coupo...onName=RWD5122

They may have some other stuff from time to time - nothing really code-wise for Black Friday this year, just an up to 30% off "sale" on certain hotels.

Note - Almost all of these promos run for a period of time (book by X date) and travel period limitations (travel between X and Y dates or travel by Z date). Some of them have limits to how many discounts they will give out total (examples - 16k for the Jan discount and 55k for the $100 rebate).

Other Discounts - Hotels.com gift cards can be a great deal. Sometimes various merchants will offer a deal like - get a $500 Hotels.com gift card for $460 (actual deal from BF this year) for example. Other times, it may be helpful to remember that you can buy these at grocery stores typically (amongst other places), and this means you can take advantage of things like 1) fuel point earnings and 2) grocery store credit card cash back/points. Doctorofcredit is a site that I usually see these listed at (also a good site to check regularly I might add). Next, you can use a credit card to purchase rooms at hotels.com that gives rewards or cash back (or that is running a promo in that area). Some examples of categories that may work include - internet purchases and travel (specifically look for things like "online travel agencies" when drilling down into exactly what that means). The credit/debit areas of the FT forums may be able to help you here. Lastly, the Hotels.com credit card (issued by Wells Fargo) is basically a 2.2% cash back everywhere card with some pretty high redemption limits ($500 to get a stamp, 10 stamps to cash in) with a couple of not-bad perks (Silver status at Hotels.com, cell phone insurance, car rental insurance (secondary in US), and some travel protections hard to find nowadays that may be worthwhile). So it's sort of a mixed bag - basically if you don't mind Wells Fargo and the *high* redemption options vs other cards, it's a pretty decent no AF card option for everywhere spending.

Price Guarantee - They have a price guarantee for their own site and for outside sites. There are a few limits, but all in all it's pretty decent. This isn't an outright price discount, but it falls in the same realm IMO. It's more restrictive on non-refundable rates, but still not too bad IMO. Details here - https://www.hotels.com/customer_care...guarantee.html

FYI or Warning or whatever you want to call it -- For the last few months my Orbitz account has been in some odd state where I can see (via specific click paths) that I have Orbucks, but the ability to apply them is gone. Customer Support has been unhelpful and the situation is not resolved. At this point I'm considering those earned Orbucks as lost, along with any business I would have given Orbitz/Expedia in the future.

Wyndham codes not working

Just tried all the codes and none of them worked. I tried a few weeks ago and no luck. Is it just the locations I searched or has anyone else had same results, or has anyone had recent success?

It's not you. The wiki hasn't been updated in a really long while because codes are scarce. I'll make a note of that at the top. Sorry you went through all the trouble.

Agoda offers tons of codes on its website (https://www.agoda.com/deals) usually around 5-8% off.

Agoda's parent company, Booking.com which interestingly isn't even in the wiki, offers a Genius program where you can save 10-15% off..

So how do we go about booking hotels with promo codes in 2023-2024? Do we just accept the fact that inflation came by & no promo codes exist anymore for the large websites like Cheaptickets, Booking etc?

Codes might be limited, but cash back websites still exist. And codes for Agoda still exist (and booking owns them).
