One of the few codes I've seen for a major site that works on rooms next year.
Dumb question, but where does this code go? I looked around and the only spot I found for a code was "voucher" tried it, didn't work.

EDIT: Found it, it's not on the Canadian site, it's on the US site. That being said "sorry, that coupon has expired".

Hotels.com $35 off $250 or more, exp 11/28/2015, may have to use paypal.

You may only use this coupon for bookings made between 12:01 am MT on 14 November 2015 and 11:59pm MT on 28 November 2015 on the United States version of Hotels.com for a stay with a check-in date between 14 November 2015 and 30 May 2016. Bookings are subject to availability and the hotel's terms and conditions.

This coupon can't be used for:

This coupon can be combined with discounted prices on Hotels.com. It cannot however be used in conjunction with any other promotion on Hotels.com, whether offered by a third party or otherwise.

You can't collect or redeem Hotels.com™ Rewards nights when you use this coupon.

You can't apply this coupon to taxes, fees, or charges including, without limitation, extra guests, phone calls, cancellation fees, parking, or other charges. You must pay these charges when you make your booking, or directly at the hotel.

You can't redeem this coupon for cash, and it can't be transferred or sold. It's void where prohibited by law. Improper use of the coupon by you is prohibited and could be construed as fraud. Beats hotels.com, but I'm quite sure Venere's is not the ultimate deal either

Question about Venere

Regarding Venere, the hotel I am looking to book would require me to prepay USD 865 for four nights. Venere.com says "Free cancellation until January 30, 2016". Does this mean that if I cancel before January 30 that I get all $865 refunded?

I've never used Venere before, so just a bit nervous before I put up $865...

Thanks in advance.

That's a great deal but I've never used ratestogo before. How good are they?

I thought Expedia were reputable until I saw this page today...

I'm sure they didn't use to be this bad. I booked a big holiday with them three years ago. Sounds like they've gone into decline.

Expedia was Hotels.com, Travelocity, Venere, Hotwire, Trivago, Trip Advisor, & WOTIF. Now that they ate Orbitz - Cheap Tickets, Rates To Go, Ebookers, & Hotel Club too. How this passed anti-trust muster is beyond me.

I have a good level of comfort with Orbitz/Expedia/Travelocity, used them all multiple times with no issues, but I didn't know they had split a bunch of times like that. It's no wonder all these websites offer the same rates.

They can really ALL be good or bad, depending on circumstance. None of them that I have found have good customer service if something goes haywire.
