SingeP please stop your repeated requests for codes. If people have a code they will post it here. That is the point of the thread. It is not for deal requests. If you do want to request a deal please contribute to the topic with a valid code at the same time. Its not cool to take without giving back.

Accor Promo: They are doing half off room for kids, could be slightly handy for summer family vacations etc
No code just on Accor's site.

"Do your kids want to have their own hotel room, just like the grown-ups?

Pay half price for children staying in separate rooms in most of our hotels and destinations. This offer is valid for up to two children under 16 years old.

In order to benefit from this offer, book a room and a second at half price will automatically be suggested to you. This offer is available at our Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman, Mercure, Novotel and Suite Novotel hotels.

I distinctly notice (on really discount sites) that prices are marked down somewhat in the course of the week. I'm currently looking to book multiple rooms for a week+ in April, and I speculate that if I leave this exercise another 24h longer and get into the weekend, the quotes will be marked a little higher. Has anyone noticed same?

I'm not talking lame pricing sites Travelocity, Orbitz, Cheaptickets, RatesToGo (who are now ALL owned by expedia) where an even 20% code doesn't seem to get the prices as low as directrooms, getaroom, dhr, otel. Alas: codes expired, and not sure if any %cashback site pays back hi on any obscure site. For a single/couple 5-10% means little; but I buy multiple rooms and many days on all school breaks. If I don't quite get all possible coupons and hi %cashback, then a villa/timeshare rental may almost be competitive lol

yes, just book when you see low prices, as your dates come closer the prices go up. So book it now and you will feel better.

that's necessarily true, as time premium is imbedded into any option pricing. But my question is weekly calendar specific: has anyone noticed pricing curve sloping downward as the week progresses, only to firm up during weekend? I suspect hotels start releasing blocks to consolidators Mon/Tue and continue thru the week; but then during the weekend consolidator's inventory is only depleting, so prices stop marking down

Hotels.com is taking $30 Off $250 on Select Hotels using coupon code "AFMARSAVE30" (Exp. 3/09/2015). Must Travel by 4/12/15

IMO, this is less useful than anything I've posted above - but to each their own...

Might have something to do with the value of the US$ versus € which is the highest in 12 years, this will bring prices down in -for example- European destinations for people that pay/book in US$. I have been looking at hotels in Thailand during the last days and it's the opposite there, prices have gone up-up-up...
