Is this a "feature" that the latest promo code of Orbitz (48HRSALE) and Cheaptickets.com (CHEAP15) don't work in all countries or is it just me? Tried to book a hotel in Thailand with these codes and got the reply

I booked at ESA one night, my res showed the discount, but at checkin it did NOT show the discount. I stayed at the desk and outwaited the recalcitrant FD person and insisted he get the discount applied, as I didn't want to mess around with getting it done in the morning at checkout. I guess this "at checkout" caveat may have been in the T&C.

I booked at ESA one night, my res showed the discount, but at checkin it did NOT show the discount. I stayed at the desk and outwaited the recalcitrant FD person and insisted he get the discount applied, as I didn't want to mess around with getting it done in the morning at checkout. I guess this "at checkout" caveat may have been in the T&C.
