Heading to Vegas 5 nights 17th-22nd June. Looking for a 4-5* central hotel. Must be 2 beds in the room - father and son 60s and 40s. Would like it central - looked at Bellagio and Caesars so far mainly. Stopped at Caesars before and loved it. Happy to do again. Happy for a change. Like a bit of luxury, good quality (and not too expensive) F&B, nice pool, decent casino. Any good deals for Bellagio or Caesars? Anywhere else we should consider? Budget obviously a consideration but not the most important aspect. Would be most grateful for any help.

What did you like about Caesars? If it's the sprawling, bustling hotel and casino you like, then Caesars and Bellagio are good options. The other higher-end casino resorts on the strip are generally considered to be Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, Aria, and Cosmopolitan. Wynn and Venetian don't meet your criterion of being centrally-located on the Strip, but Aria and Cosmo are fairly central. While Caesars and Bellagio are more traditional luxury, Cosmo is more of a hip luxury if that makes sense, and Aria is understated. They both tend to be quieter and less crowded than Bellagio and Caesars and have decent pools. Everyone raves about the Aria Sky Suites as another step up in luxury, but I haven't had the opportunity to stay in one.

If an attached casino isn't a requirement, there are other options like Four Seasons, Vdara and Waldorf Astoria.

For deals, with Caesars it's best to sign up for a Caesars Rewards account and log in and see what they offer. For the MGM properties, see the mycheapvegas link in the wiki of this thread.

For Caesars, try this guide, seems to have the best prices. Randomly there will be free rooms too, but on the lower quality properties like Rio/Harrahs/etc.

Thanks for the advice. Ended up splitting the stay between the Cosmo and the Palazzo.

Any Deals for July? Will be there for two weeks. Would like to stay at The Encore, but the rates are very high.

If you have time, checkout the Wynn Slots game, you can get free hotel rooms, not sure you'll earn fast enough for July though but worth a shot.

As for deals, there are some decent ones on Cheap Las Vegas Specials, Las Vegas Hotel Deals, Free Vegas Coupons (username: guest pw: guest) right now. It's the same as the other Stay, Sip and Dine offer posted earlier, but the rates are much lower.
