Is there a trick? I'm looking at the same dates and i'm not even coming close while logged in to the website.

MGM Grand $59.03/night

educated guess you looked at 10/14-10/16 not 11/14-11/16?

no way the Hard Rock will be $40 on a Fri or Sat even via LMT. its showing $140 or so right now.

best rate i would recommend is the $98 at Palms Place. Nice big room... only downside is you can't really walk to the strip (well you can but no one does).

Bally's not bad either also at $98.

You are partially correct. I was putting in 11/14-11/16, but apparently the website has a bug where the search box to the left shows 11/14-11/16, but the search result box shows 10/15-10/17.

Another option would the Tropicana at $95 or any of the two Hilton Grand Vacations for slightly less.

That does happen. Love lmtclub but hate it when I'm checking different dates, get excited about a low rate but it's gone when I click thru. Just gotta start from scratch to reset it.

Not to get drunk or re-enact hangover movie .
It's just a casual trip for bit gambling, bit drinking, taking it easy.

If you have to have a suite, book 1 suite where everyone can hang out, and then smaller rooms for everyone else. 2 bedroom suites always cost significantly more than just multiple rooms.

Check www.mycheapvegas.com for promotions, book whatever u think is cheap/fair at the time, and then rebook if you see something better. For March 2015, I would imagine cyber Monday would have the best deals from my last few years experience. Just try to plan ahead so you're ready by then to book.

I would need a room in Las Vegas for 10 september 2015 to 13 september 2015;
When would be the best time to book? I have about 110.000 loyalty points on their Facebook game too. Never been to Vegas but Aria seems to be pretty sweet!
I already booked all my other hotels. A lot of them sold out already, so this is why I'm asking already for LV too.

I would need a room with 2 separate beds.

Royal Offer R.I.P?

I'm getting error messages now for all the hotels, e.g. " The promotion code you entered has expired."

Yes.

We have a kind of sudden opportunity to go in a few weeks. Best offer I could find anywhere (reward vs minimum cost) is the mgm 2 buffets per 1 night stay booked thru smartervegas:
http://www.smartervegas.com/mobile/d....aspx?did=1161
And the direct link:
https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/b...D25!CA!NOFV!YS

Same offer but thru other discount sites the price per night for our 2 nights was a few dollars more. Smartervegas: $72-64 vs mycheapvegas $84-77. Weird.

This MGM is offer is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit so be careful. It is a one night minimum so that seems to be rare lately for MGM Mirage offers containing free extras--such as free buffets in this offer. IMHO the MGM Grand buffet is mediocre relative to the competition.... the only way I'd go to it is if it were free.

Which would kind of fit this offer. ?
Thought the MGM one was ok, but yeah, I would not pay for it either. I enjoy the different buffets but at the same time I would not pay out of pocket for any buffet in Vegas. Between myvegas and other offers don't have to.
Plus lately I've found little difference between the MGM buffet and some of the other more expensive ones. Even the Bellagio buffet last trip was pretty underwhelming. I can't see myself paying out of pocket or standing in line for that again when for the same or less money you can get a better table service meal somewhere.

Been looking through older posts in the thread and looking for advice for the first trip to Vegas.

Vegas is the 2nd or 3rd stop on a road trip. Starting in SLC and heading to Moab, Grand Canyon, (possibly Zion) and then Vegas. Friend and myself will be camping along the way but thought spending a nice night and shower in Vegas would be fun. Date will be either Dec. 12th or 13th.

We're both country kids and will hopefully be able make it to the NFR or one of the after party at the Gold Coast.

Any thoughts or advice?

Going to continue on to Sequoia, Yosemite and Redwoods afterwards.
