Fellow FT members, here is a great deal which I found on the Personal Shopping Advisor blog. I want to share with you.

For every hotel booking, the give you a cash back in the amount of 25 $. You can either get your money to any EUR account within the EU zone or via paypal.

Enjoy until the end of the month!

Booking through expedia

My apologies if this is posted in the wrong thread, but I have a question. A couple of weeks ago I read on here about discounted airline tickets to LAS by booking through expedia with the flight+hotel search and selecting the El Cortez hotel and casino. My wife and I are planning a trip to Vegas in early June. We will be staying at the MGM Grand as I have a few rooms comped there (not that I am a high roller, but when you sit at the poker table for 16 hours straight, it seems you should get comped something). The flights I looking at are AA and cost $399.40 a/i. However, booking through expedia and selecting to stay at the El Cortez, the same flights would cost $307.20 a/i. And finally my question, can we book the package through expedia to get the cheaper flights with the nights at the El Cortez and actually stay at the MGM Grand under my seperate reservation? Would there be any consequences of a no show for the El Cortez reservations?

Sorry to be so long winded. Any advice is appreciated and thanks in advance.

Thanks for the tips and all the info. Very helpful.

Any good Bellagio Suite offers for March yet?
The 3 for 2 was only for a regular room, right?

Booking Flight+El Cortez hotel with Expedia

In the past I've done Vegas with 2 paid/comped rooms at once. All you have to do is to check-in and check-out and never use the room. I can't tell you what the charge (if any) if you didn't show up to the hotel. BTW I just stayed at ElCo on mon-wed using the Expedia package and upon arrival they gave me a comp for 2 free night in April for just checking-in. Have Fun

I just booked Golden Nugget for the superbowl w/e for $169 (total) for three nights. Less than what I did have booked at the ElCo. Insanely cheap right now.

Not sure about consequences, but what I can think of would be how an airline may cancel your "return" ticket if you don't show up for a portion of the flight. If this were a possibility on what you're considering then the simple solution would be to take a cab ride to El Cortez and check in to your room...from there you would do nothing as most hotels these days allow you to checkout just by leaving. They'd be none the wiser at this point except that some computer might know that you never went into the room.

Question is this: Is $200 worth the hour+ it would take for you to go to EL Cortez to check-in (not to mention the cab fare both ways).

ALL packages with air and hotel are booked INDEPENDENT of each other. Not checking into a hotel or flying on a scheduled flight WILL NOT cancel out the other. This is true FOR ALL packages provided by all third party travel booking services such as Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Priceline, etc...

This is a trick often used to get low priced hotels through Priceline Vacation Packages. Find the lowest priced airfare to the city you want a hotel, then YOU pick the hotel which is often lower priced than other services, and then skip the airline portion.

Harrah's has a deal for 25% off of a 4 night or more stay. The 25% only applies to the four lowest rates if you book over 4 nights. We are planning on staying 8 nights. Would it be a problem to just book two seperate reservations each for 4 nights? Worst case, I'm guessing would be that we had to check out and then check back in on the 4/5 day. I couldn't find any exclusions that prevented me from doing this.

I've never tried this before. What do you do? I tried Priceline's vacation packages, and I can't figure out how to drop the airline portion. Do you pay for the package & then refund the airline part?

Thanks.

You pay for the entire package and just don't take the flight. You don't get any refund. The key is finding the lowest priced airfare to go with the package as Priceline has some very low hotel rates that are part of many of their packages.

This also works with Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc. but Priceline normally has some great package rates. Orbitz, when they had a lot of coupon codes (such as last year), was another one to book Vacation Packages and just use the hotel portion of the package.

Plaza and Vegas Club 60% Off

Expedia, Hotels.com and http://travel.ian.com/index.jsp?pageName=promo&cur (all co-owned) have the Plaza and Vegas Club for as low as $9.07 per night (60% off). Use the form (good for travel completed by 5/31/2010) from travel.ian.com for a $20 rebate on a 3-night stay. Your total including taxes and fees, after rebate, will be as low as $11.38.

The weekend of 4/2 & 3, their rooms are as low as $12 per night. That's the lowest priced weekend I have seen.

Through tonight at 11:59 PM PST, try Expedia.com and if you can pick a room that is $25 or more PER NIGHT use code EXCLUSIVE1 for $25 off a 2-night stay. Their Deluxe rooms I have seen for $27 per night some weekends. The code is good for travel completed by 4/30/2010.
