1/1-1/2 in DC near Mall - Want earn SkyMiles and/or ThankYou points
Best I found was Grand Hyatt Washington DC on Expedia.com. Can anyone do better?

Cost $104

Put it on my Citi travel rewards cad: 312 ThankYou Points
Book with expedia:105 ThankYou Points
Stay at a hyatt hotel: 500 skymiles

For delta it says " offers 500 miles per qualifying hotel stay.", but dosn't say what is a qualifying hotel stay. Anybody know?

not a great deal, even for that hyatt

if you put in the amtrak code, that hotel is $89

I almost use amtrak though.

I am going NYC->WAS->all around Baltamore for a few days (I could hitch a ride and use regional trains though)->NYC. Since there are two of us driving is much cheaper.

using the code gives you the rates. it has nothing to do with who you credit the stay to
