I have not received a confirmation email either. Did the people who are getting the email check the "Sign Up for Newsletter " box? I did not.

I signed up again using another email address and checked the box and received an immediate confirmation email. You need to remove the 1928Promotion cookie or use another browser to re-register.

However others have reported that the newsletter box does not seem to be a factor.

I did not check the newsletter box and got a confirmation e-mail right away. Perhaps because I am already a member of Leaders club??

I did not check the "sign up for newsletter" box, I am not already a member of Leaders Club, and I did get the confirmation.

Registered a few minutes ago. On a return to WWW site, it recognized me as registered.

About 5 minutes later an email arrived confirming registration.

I did NOT ask for their newsletter.

Personally I would not consider the registration successful if I did not receive the confirmation email. The web page confirmation only indicates that the 1928Promotion cookie is set. There may be a bug where they do not enter you in the database. You need to remove the 1928Promotion cookie or use another browser to re-register. Also try using another email address when registering.

I'm already a LHW member, and upon seeing this thread, went to the website and registered, and received a near-instant confirmation via email. I *did* select the newsletter box even though I already receive their promo mailings.
