Not quite as good as the $75 off 3 night/$150 off 5 night coupon they ran last year... but still it might just come in handy for a stay in Miami this week. Hey, $50 off is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick (as my Dad would say). Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks!

Not only got $50 dollars off but the per night rate was $57 versus $94 on expedia! Not an exciting hotel or exciting place- Grants Pass Oregon- however, more the reason not to spend too much! Thanks!

Crap, I re-booked my Hilton ressie in Miami through Orbitz for this weekend... only to discover that HHonors will not credit Orbitz stays!?

I thought it was only PL (opaque) bookings that were not allowed. For the mere $38 savings (that was all it added up to with differing tax rates) it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't have gotten my room upgrade/Executive Lounge acces either.

Ended up calling Orbitz back, canceling the reservation, and requesting the $25 fee be waived as a "one time courtesy." Then re-booking with HHonors.com. Including the half hour debate with the HHonors CSR, that was a good amount of time wasted!

I like the Sands Regency...now if NW would just fly to RNO . It's also possible to go car-less there for part of the time and just use 2 or 3 of the bus routes (a bit like LAS but more compact and manageable)

Got in for 5 total nights in Puerto Vallarta on 2 deals at about $209 all-in total after the discounts, or $42/night. Came down to something high-rated a bit out of the way or something centrally located but with sewer gas. Picked the former.

Looking at LAS for 4/6-8. Expedia has buy 1 get 1 free nights on the four queens...comes out to an average of $26 plus tax for each night. Think I could buy on orbitz for $55/night, use the $50 off code, and then price match to expedia to bring it down to $18 all in for 2 nights??
