I played around with this and found the same. The reservation had to use Jan 1 to get the $9.00 rate. Keep in mind that the $9 rate is for one person. I called the hotel since I screwed this up and had them change it to two people. I did not think my wife (or I) wanted to sleep in the car!

I guess it was not a mistake rate, but what if it were?

Is it even still bookable? How hard would it be to get out there on Jan 1?
I can just see it - "Here's a photo of the snowstorm during the day. Here is a photo of when it snowed at night. Oh, and here's a photo of... well, snow."

Ok, the point is noted (sveral times) about the call. Stupid on my part. I was just thinking about a similar situation in the past where I was bit $$$ real hard with a Hilton property when I showed up and had no where else to go. Anyway, the rate is still available with standard rooms.

I could drive from NYC->Bolton Landing (where the hotel is) on 1st.
