Hyatt Regency Hua Hun $41 xmas 2008 (next year)

I was looking for a room in Hua Hin for later this month and found:
http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/hu...t_regency.html

I'm not too familiar with AsiaRooms.com, so since they say:
"We will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours (except special cases) with the final status of your booking"
it's possible that every rez is touched by a person and won't be allowed ?

good luck !

Historically speaking, these types of reservations that do not go directly into the reservation system (automated) have not had success in getting it honored. Someone (in this case someone @ asiarooms.com) usually notices the price is too good and puts an end to those bookings.

That's how Asiarooms works. Whenever you book a non-mistake rate that's significantly better than what's listed elsewhere, you have a 90% chance of receiving a rejection email after a few days. They will usually also offer an alternative that's completely unacceptable -- If you inquired about a 5* at the beach they will offer a guesthouse in the mountains, etc.

Really?

I got two rooms for two nights at the BKK Marriott Hotel & Spa for $80USD when the going rate was ~$120USD/night. Worked fine, confirmation came in about 8 hours, IIRC. They even sent a SMS confirmation and the hotel accepted all documents with no question.

Thanks for the OP, and thanks for the warnings.

Reading through the terms and conditions, there is plenty of wiggle room for the hotel.

I'm booking, let's see what happens. :)

Thanks - very nice find!

However, works for Xmas time only.... it is with offers like this that you wish you had no family :D

Asiarooms worked for me

In Honk Kong got the Ramada at $80 instead of $159, but it took until close to arrival date before they would confirm the rate.

Okay, I'm in for 6 days. If this goes through and I can't make it there, looks like rooms are refundable minus $15 USD administration fee.

Thanks JKD!
