$55 Novotel (4*) all cities in France until Aug 18, 2007

40th anniversary of Novotel chain = special 40 euros (about USD 55) / night for all hotels, all cities including Paris.
Limited availability - you guessed it : 4000 rooms !

http://www.novotel.com/fr/hotel-deal...iversary.shtml
Select City, arrival date, number of nights --> click "Rechercher" (Search)

Terms and conditions in French but rough traduction = valid for single night only, pending availability, credit card charged at booking, no refunds or exchanges.

Should be available in English (click the flag in top right corner) but apparently there's a bug with the website ???
Feel free to ask for help with translation

Ok, nevermind - I can't read the title of the thread - '...Aug 18th, 2007'. It's Monday....

I hope this works for you. I used a translation feature from Google http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.novotel.com%2Ffr%2Fho tel-deals%2Fpromotion-anniversary.shtml&langpair=fr%7Cen&hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&prev=%2Flanguage_tools You should be able to make a reservation using this (or at least I could).

[Mymiles] it's okay, I feel the same - I guess Mondays are even worse when you're the only one who is NOT on vacation when everyone else is.

[cacic] thanks for the link and I'm glad it worked for you ! The weather here was terrible all July but you should enjoy August

Cheers,

"Toute modification ou annulation est impossible après la réservation. Le client accepte d'être débité à la réservation du prix total du séjour, cette somme n'étant pas remboursable en cas d'annulation ou de modification des dates de séjour. Le montant engagé n'est pas remboursable, même en cas d'annulation ou de modification."

In other words: pre-payment for the entire stay, non-refundable, no changes.

Absolutely. Still a nice deal, though !

(some hotels in the chain, notably in Paris, go way beyond US$300 per night !)

I have managed to find this promotion rate for the weekend i need. The second night is 220 euro, which is too high. Can I book the first night in my name and the second in my travelling partner's?
tks

My guess would be yes... just use a different credit card
But keep in mind they would likely be handled as two separate bookings, i.e. you might have to switch rooms for the second night and so on.

We could make a booking using this promotion for a quick stop in Annecy on the way to our vacation destination.

Thanks JudgeJ !
