Days Inn BRG - Downtown Edmonton, AB (YEG)
Hey all,
Glad to announce a new BRG today, this one's a great find.
Days Inn Downtown Edmonton, right on Jasper Ave in the heart of the city.
Book on Triprewards.com for $104.00 CAD per night.
Lower rate found on Expedia.ca, at $95.00 CAD midweek and $99.00 CAD weekend.
VERY limited availability (the hotel is sold out for most of August).
Sample Dates (which I booked, and were confirmed):
Aug 13, 15, 23
Sept 5,7,9
Sept 26, 28
Mostly in the next two-three months.
Enjoy, and hurry! This is very "pullable" and will disappear soon!

You'll see it come up as $93.10 on Triprewards. IGNORE THIS. This is a "Triprewards Members Only Advance Purchase Rate". By their own rules, their BRG applies to only PUBLICLY AVAILABLE rates. Just book the $104, refundable rate, and file your claim, and voila!
Just one way their own rules are biting them in the rear, today!

I used the BRG for a hotel in ANC earlier this month. Been looking fairly regularly to find another one for next month in ANC but no luck yet.
Good find here though for visitors to Edmonton.

This BRG has been available for some time. The hotel is undergoing significant reservations (call and see what stage they're at). Up until this point the reviews have been awful for this location so I suspect the cheap rates are to make-up for the inconvenience of the renos and help the new management get a boost.

I'm not sure I'd call $104 per night "cheap". I don't think it's logical to assume Triprewards is giving away free nights to make up for inconveniencing people with their construction at the Days Inn - no hotel would do that, or allow that, and it's pretty hard to find a date to get this BRG in the first place!
