Based on your posts here, you seem to go to Bangkok a lot, wow that is a lot of travel

I was able to reserve a second room on amex's travel website (no advance pay) rate was THB 655 (I assume that is where the mistake lies they forgot to add a digit). The room was described as 1 DLX I Bedroom Suite.

I suspect when all is said and done, the hotel will either offer its smaller suite or upgrade to club floor. I seriously doubt they will give us the presedent suite or even their larger suites.

Travelocity has it as well. There also is a $16 room available. They use the Baht rate as USD rate. THB1915.00 = $51.08. Based on my experience with Travelocity (MO Tokyo mistake), the correct (USD) rate will be transmitted to the hotel. Fighting with Travelocity is not fun, so book with Priceline.

I am in BKK -- we shall see. Thanks, OP!

What is AMEX TRAVEL website address?

When I tried to book the 2nd room on Priceline for the same dates it says:

Please note: The room type you selected is no longer available. You can try the same hotel and select a different room type or choose another hotel from the list below.

That sounds better.

The three nights I will be in Bangkok in November - 24-27 - will not come up on any of the sites mentioned, so perhaps one of you already got them, and there is only one booking available at this price for each night?

No just 1 trip, middle of Nov.till dec. and go back Jan. The only thing that stops me from booking more nights is I'm not really sure what we'll end up with.PRLN can be VERY difficult to deal with.also no status with Hilton.

Babyjesus, I am checking in the day you check out (22nd). You're not going to request a late check-out, are you? :-)

Hope they will honor this!!!

GONE from priceline, best i can tell. i'm guessing if you got in early, they'll honor it.

as far as amex travel...since it's 'unconfirmed,' i'm not cancelling my other reservations just yet. but i am crossing my fingers, toes and other appendages
