There's always that chance that had you seen this later for the $25, the rate would have been pulled
Or do what I did and add more nights to cost average the savings
P.S. For those who like to golf, and are unafraid of the heat, and are cheap like me the world class golf courses at La Quinta drop significantly around summer. Rates for a $200+ course go for around $80... the rate usually drops around end of May. You can get a hot deal (pun intended) getting this room rate and cheap green fee.

Is there anyway for Priceline or Hilton to avoid honoring the reservation? I think it would be unwise of them since it's a prepaid reservation and it would totally violate the whole Priceline business model. Okay...I'll be the first to stay it...I'm gonna sue if they don't honor it!
I'm still really upset with Travelocity over the Japan fiasco and will never do business with them again. I just don't want to go through all that drama again.

but than if you dont like, dont bid on obvious price glitches.
if it is going through we are lucky, if not than well wait for the next one.
as this is a special case i am sure that PL will honor it. as a customer you will bid something like 25-50 usd . normally i dont use frequently priceline, but i got rooms in shanghai in CAT5 hotels for 60usd before, so this price isnt out of the range.
and may be it is not a glitch? may be they did offer it on specific dates to get the people into the hotel.
if you calculate 10 usd for room cleaning etc. than they still will earn around 15 usd per night and 30usd on the other rate.
i will wait and see if they honor it, but this one i have the feeling it will go through.
but this one is really fun. ^
