Anyone here have the premium service? How is it?
this was by far and away the most comprehensive and useful the last 2 years. pretty weak now behind the paywall sadly. i've not paid as dont get enough use from the random one off nights.

I've been a fan of Extreme Hotel Deals for the past 2 years. I joined their premium service when it started a few months ago. It's worth it to me. They release great mistake rates. I was able to score a 1 bedroom oceanview suite at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort for $125 a night... This was during Xmas week. Another score for me was a $79 room at the Ritz-Carlton New York Battery Park. I'm a believer.

Also the Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Travel Tuesday list is about 4 - 5 times longer for Premium subscribers

Maybe I should get the month discount to see tomorrow. Only 2 deals I ended up using (Opal and Accor - the 40% off at the Fairmont Ottawa was a nice addition to a planned trip!)

This year everything is so lame, every year it gets worse and worse, really bad discounts...The best discount I can find is really booking at least 3-4 months out, nothing beats that for hotels, lol...

So I'm not the only one who got that message about hotels not meeting terms & conditions even if they did? It seems it's a new measure this year to avoid "frauds" like booking in other countries. However, it just prevented me from booking hotel in totally legit ways, what is really annoying.

I did not see any stellar deal from the major chains this year unless you wanted a room during the slow season (Q1 2020) as most rates expired at end of March. And of course nothing at popular ski resorts weekends during that time.

The only decent deals I found were at MGM casino properties in Las Vegas which were heavily discounted through end of schedule. Of course, they did not look so hot after you add back the $40 resort fees but they also did not require prepayment.
