Valid all year directly on Hyatt website.

I did book enough for Globalist status. 5 star luxury hotel- looks like a nice place to spend some time! It says prepayment is required, but will this be until the hotel decides to charge my card? Not familiar with Hyatt program.

Got this from EHD?

The hotel is certainly not a 5 star property. 3.5-4 stars, Id say. Rooms a bit tired the last I stayed there, and the lounge is overrun with kids during holidays.

yes EHD, and the Hyatt site says it is 5 stars, TripAdvisor gives it a 4.5. I am not speaking from experience just what I found online.

Book 60 nights, ~ $1000, earn Globalist, free night cert category 1-7 value at least $500-750.. spend two months in beautiful Indonesia :-) was looking for an end of year Asian getaway this looks like the plan !

EHD said it was valid from August 27 to June 1st, but the rate has been available every date I checked.

Indonesian hotels are not always the most cooperative on “Jumbo” rates, but Hyatt is fairly decent about honoring deals, if you push back.

It was also available in July 2018 when I checked, possibly earlier, too.

They have a decent selection. Standard garden view, golf course view, a couple of different suites, and probably a presidential. I’ve stayed in a standard suite, plus the two types of normal rooms. Nothing too exciting.

Jogja is a decent city. Nice wood items for sale, lots of local tourists buying clothes and such. Two big temples, I’ve been to one. It’s ok, if you like that sort of thing. Plus there’s a nearby volcano which has been active lately.

You can catch a train from Jakarta, which is 6 hours, if I recall right. Or fly from DPS, CGK or similar domestic airports. The train is fun to do, once. Nice greenery. Most of the rail infrastructure in Indonesia is from Dutch colonial times. Not a fast ride, but adequate. I went in a car once. Never again. No fun at all.

I know it is the weekend, but have anyone's charges posted or even "pending', yet?
