Hyatt Regency Paris Club Rooms $21 + 3000 Points Per Night

Per View From The Wing

Despite what the article says, appears to be a fully refundable rate.

If you book the cancellation policy says:

Cancel Reservation
Cancel By 4pm Hotel Time 24hours Prior Avoid One Night Pnl

Seems dead now. Somebody in the comments of Gary's article mentioned that they called the hotel, and now points + cash stays seem to have been removed from the availability.

I was looking at available dates and the points option availability suddenly disappeared.

I snagged 2 weekend nights in October. We'll see if it gets cancelled by Hyatt...

Next I need to try to figure out how to get there from Orlando.

annoying that someone would call to verify a mistake rate... what were they expecting hyatt to say?? still, i figured it was only a matter of time before hyatt pulled the rate anyway.

this hadn't been up for very long, by the way. i looked at availability earlier this week, and there was no club upgrade option - just award nights and cash+points.

If only I was shocked about people calling in on such deals.

That's why you should have shared the info here first.

about that... i actually wasn't trying to get credit for a hot tip; i emailed gary leff because he had a post earlier this year about another mistake rate at the same hotel, and i was curious if they honored that one. in fact, i assumed it was probably too specific a find for him to write about. lesson learned!

Thank you for that!! I booked 6 nights in September 2017. The language in the email is confusing to me thou. It says:

Type of Rate: CLUB UPGRADE WITH POINTS
Rate Information: GOLD PASSPORT CLUB *UPGRADE CERTIFICATE* - Valid on Regency/Grand Club only Rate is eligible to earn points and tier credit.

However, as I searched for clarification about this rate, one website mentions that the cash portion of that rate *is* the venerable "Hyatt Daily rate". On some properties that rate could be as high as standard rate (i.e. GH NYC: standard rate is $359 and CUwP rate is $359+3K points). So, eagerly awaiting people's DPs about this deal!

Their "fix" to prevent the error rate from showing was to remove ALL availability for base rooms at the Standard Rate.

I wonder if this glitch occurred at any other hotel...

I've booked both club upgrade and suite upgrade awards, and they're always the standard room rate + either 3000 or 6000 points.

Well, you deserve it nonetheless. An impressive find, especially during the summer months.

Now...we wait...
