I have to say, it's really not worth your time (well mine at least) to book mistake hotel rates on Booking.com. They will cancel them without fail as soon as they notice, whether that is sooner or later. And their policy or practice allows them to cancel any rate, even a prepaid one, that they consider, in their judgement, to be unusually low. They have done it to me several times so I don't bother with these deals any more unless they are with the hotel themselves or on another OTA. Even with others the success rate is very low but with booking.com it seems to be zero.
