Actually, within an hour you can hit a multitude of good wineries, including the nearby beautiful Anderson Valley or Russian River Valley. Plus River Rock Casino. Or make a day trip to Mendocino. Though no

Actually, within an hour you can hit a multitude of good wineries, including the nearby beautiful Anderson Valley or Russian River Valley. Plus River Rock Casino. Or make a day trip to Mendocino. Though not much in Cloverdale itself.

Booked weekend of November 13, what the heck. There might still be some foliage, it's an hour from Stag's Leap winery. Might not use it but great to have as an option.

Good point, didn't think of that. Just looking at it on a map I didn't see much around but I didn't consider the wineries.

Plus the town of Healdsburg is only about 15 minutes away and worth a day trip. Historic small central plaza with music in season, great restaurants up the wazoo, brewpubs and shops. From there directly through the Alexander Valley to Napa, if you like.
