Seems to be mistake...One Bedroom Suite including Club goes for standard room rate.
Found a lot of dates all over the year.
40.000 point rate worked also.
Booked 26.4-28.4

I can't replicate. Did you book directly from IHG?

Yes directly IHG...webside needs to set to Germany and german otherwise normal price is shown

If you are trying to us UK or US version of IHG the normal rates and rooms are shown.
On the german side the mistake happens only.

For the time I'm keeping my previous booking - 100 Euro for a standard room through TravelPony (35$ credit + 50$ coupon). First time I've made an IC booking with an OTA. :eek:

The confirmation email state "EINBETT BUSINESS SUITE" but in my account it's a reservation for a Deluxe room.

Not a big deal at this point. I think I'll keep quiet for now and try to sort this out in a few weeks.

yep, I also have "DELUXE DOUBLE ROOM" in upcoming reservations, probably something wrong with the room name and description on the German site, pics are the same

and after the reservation was made there was a suggested upgrade and there was also: "Originale Zimmerreservierung: Deluxe Room" plus e.g. 71 EUR for an upgrade do a Club Room and 315 EUR for a Business Suite... ;)

When I change the language to English my account also shows a "DELUXE DOUBLE ROOM". When I change back to German its a "EINBETT BUSINESS SUITE". Did I already mention that GERMAN is my first language :D

Clearly a translation mistake, and in my opinion hardly worth the effort for this rate.

Thats why I booked a rate I can cancel for free if it's not working out.

Thanks for the tip! I already had this hotel booked with points for a trip this summer. I canceled (a very nervous minute) and rebooked with points. Same as above confirmation email says business suite but my account says deluxe room. I guess if they don’t honor I am not out unless they cancel the reservation. Again, thanks!

Got the same email, saying deluxe double room. Not going till July, so hoping to learn from others' experiences!
