Mistake rate - 4* Hotel in Berlin and Hamburg for 20Euro WITH breakfast

***GONE***

***UPDATE - Available also at : Leonardo Hannover and Leonardo Baden-Baden in Germany***

Hello,

while wondering threw Leonardo hotels website. i joined their loyalty club

looked at possible redemption options

and came across this:

20Euro +10 points per night with breakfast at Leonardo berlin city west + leonardo hamburg city nord

Now the thing is...you already get 250 points by joining the program as a joining bonus...

now, i looked at a bunch of dates on April. and all of them showed this option

the most amazing thing is that even when i looked at 4-5 nights..it says:
20Euro+40\50 points (regulars night's at other hotels go for 1000+ points per night...so it's probably an error)

I never booked threw their booking system, but it seems that the price next to the "20Euro+10 points" is the full price...and i hope i'm not wrong and they wont charge that price...

so...booking is under your responsibility

this is how to do it:
http://www.leonardo-hotels.com/
join the loyalty program, you get 250 bonus points
go to: Loyalty program--> Redeem points
lookup dates

P.S. The difference between the non-refundable and the refundable is only one point...so if there is a problem with the mistake rate maybe it's better to pick the refundable...

***PLEASE - IF YOU USE THIS RATE IN THE NEAR FUTURE, PLEASE SHARE WITH OTHER USERS IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS USING THE RATE AT THE HOTEL WHEN YOU CHECKED IN\OUT***

have fun

Got my welcome points. No low-low rates for redemption on my dates in May.

BTW wouldn't you expect a chain with this name to have a location in Rome?

Leonardo berlin city west + leonardo hamburg city nord

and, make sure your logged in to the loyalty program

This is what i see when i lookup 1-31/5

I wish it works at other properties. Do you know how to purchase additional points and if you do, how much they are selling for the points like 1000 points is 35 EURO or something like that?

It may work at other properties. i didn't check all of them...so maybe there are more

the truth is, it's a new hotel chain outside Israel (Where i think it started)...i have no clue at all about this program. i didn't find any information in the website (how much you get per night and thing's like that)

i would guess it's not 1000=35 euro because i saw you get around 200 points for 200$ stay. so i would guess the ratio would be higher then that (if they even sale points)

Website changing

The rate showed up for me for a while, but a few minutes ago the website started behaving differently, and jumping abruptly to the home page when I tried to book a room. So perhaps the deal is dead.

I think this was certainly an error rate, since it seems the points were supposed to be around 10x the price in euros, but instead were price / 10. This explains the factor of 100 cheaper that some of you were seeing.

Good luck to those who reserved the error rate... please let us know if you were able to stay!

Thx for the followup. The low-low rate is available @ Berlin West for my dates in May. I 'm making a cancellable res for a suite pending research about trains to/from central Berlin.

Is it something I am doing wrong?
I think the 20Euro is a booking fee for awards, and the error is in the amount needed in points for free nights

if you try to book regular rate and not threw redeem points it will ask only for 416Euro. no fee and no points (only earning 416 points...)

you will see that in other hotels it wants 10\20\40Euro+1000 plus points
