I actually feel differently about that. At the end of the day, business class on redeyes for the kids is more for the parents than the kids anyway.

For the 100k deal, site says 71 available and each person can buy up to 2 sets. So basically about 35 people will be able to get that package.

This is the deal that I was looking forward to as well. Why didn't I pick them up last year when they did not sell out as quickly?

I thought they were supposed to increase the quantities. Assuming one has an Amex and gets 10% off 100k CC = 18k miles at .019 each which isn't worth buying on spec for. Assuming you can beat the rush. At least they got rid of the Facebook codes and earlybird sales.

It appears I waited all year for this for nothing. Anyway, maybe the 3rd week will be better. Star points would be fantastic. I doubt we will see them though.

There will be very intense competition for SPG, Hyatt, Wyndham, and Marriott points if there are any. Hopefully we will get to see some of these and in increased quantity. So far their preview seems lackluster to me.
