12 Chicago Hotels Offering Blizzard Rates Under $100/Night

As posted by Hotel Chatter ... don't know if they qualify as hotel deals but here goes:

· The Belden-Stratford: $59 via the free HotelTonight iPhone app
· Hyatt Regency O'Hare Airport: $59 by calling 847-696-1234 & promo code "BLIZZ"
· Hyatt Regency: $79 by calling 888-421-1442
· Affinia Hotel: $79 with promo code "SNOW"
· Hotel Sax: $89 via the free HotelTonight iPhone app
· Hyatt Rosemont (near O'Hare): $89 by calling 888-421-1442
· Hyatt McCormick Place: $95 by calling 312-567-1234 and requesting "Blizzard rate"
· The Sutton Place Hotel: $99 via the free HotelTonight iPhone app
· Hotel Palomar: $99 with code "COLD"
· Hotel Monaco: $99 with code "COLD"
· Hotel Burnham: $99 with code "COLD"
· Hotel Allegro: $99 with code "COLD"

BONUS! If you're feeling fancy, the swish Park Hyatt right on Michigan Avenue and Chicago Avenue is offering rock-bottom blizzard rates of $150 per night. To book that, call 888-421-1442. Heck, we stayed here once for like $250 and that was a bargain. We'd probably go with the Park Hyatt because they've got Eames chairs and window seats in the rooms...ideal for watching the snow fall on Water Tower Place.

Sax at $89 is one to grab. Enjoyed a stay there in December and loved the quirky style. Beware they may offer to upgrade to a bigger room for a fee, but I was pleased with my basic room. Bathroom was huge.

New Blizzard Rate good through March 31 2013

November 6, 2012 - Hyatt Regency O’Hare, 9300 Bryn Mawr Avenue, announces a special “Blizzard Rate” to accommodate stranded travelers and suburban commuters due to inclement weather conditions this winter. Whenever there is more than three inches of snow predicted from now through March 31, the hotel is offering a “Blizzard Rate”of $65 that includes free parking and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream and razor.Toiletries can be delivered directly to guest rooms as requested. The hotel even has computer and phone chargers available for guests to borrow if needed. This offer is based on availability. For reservations, call 847-696-1234 and ask for the Hyatt Regency O’Hare “Blizzard Rate” or visit ohare.hyatt.com and enter SNOW in the “Special Offer Code” box.

Travelers stuck at O’Hare International Airport during a blizzard are able to board Hyatt Regency O’Hare’s complimentary shuttle and arrive at the hotel within minutes. Guests may indulge in a warm meal at O’H American Grill followed by a peaceful night’s sleep in a luxurious Hyatt Grand Bed.

Thanks!
Kalboz posted this almost 2 years ago. No wonder nobody has a clue what you're talking about.

When are you here? Check the 50%-off rates in the Hilton forum.

I got Palmer House Sunday 1/23/12 for $59. Same day reservation.

Drake, Conrad a bit more.
