HOLIDAY INN ELK GROVE VILLAGE (CHICAGO, OHARE) $42++ See inside
Holiday Inn Elk Grove Village $42 plus tax $47 a.i.. $40 a.i. if going through one of the rebate sites that are currently giving 15%-16% rebates on IHG Bookings .
This is about 50% off the best available rate
Available Most Friday and Saturdays nights only, throughout 2012 and 2013 including this weekend
The $42 rate is good on all rooms but not the Suites
Includes Rountrip Shuttle Service from OHare
Bookable through the Holiday Inn Site
Search the Holiday Inn Site using the ENTERTAINMENT CARD Rate from the rate preference drop down menu.
You can book this rate WITHOUT your entertainment membership# or if you dont have a membership you can still book and buy a book and register your membership before your stay.
Supposed to show Entertainment card at check-in.
Do not know if they actually want to see the card.
Pretty inexpensive to buy the Entertainment book if you do not have one.
Seeing Availability for Many Fridays and Saturdays throughout 2012 and 2013

Flagging this for mods as it is improper to post a rate that requires a paid membership and suggest people cheat.

Actually, it suggests that you buy the Entertainment book. And you can book without the paid membership. I would find this quite useful if I were going to Elk Grove - no need to flag here.

So let's post every other Entertainment rate as well? And every AAA rate?
This isn't some $300/nt property going for $42.

That was my thought. This site wouldn't exist if that was a criteria for posts and threads .

Well, a) Entertainment rates don't get points, and b) fraud is fraud, and this has been gone through extensively on other threads. FT is not about using rates that you are explicitly not allowed to based on their t&Cs. I hope the HI asks you all for proof and then leaves you paying rack rates.

Please reread first post I think your complaint has been taken care of.
DO you agree?
I agree with your comment about the fraud I think some have read the first post after it was edited by the OP. I assume it was to address your issue.
However, I do not think we can be responsible for others morality. All we can do is play by the rules. It has always been the case on FT and other forums that some who have less morals take advantage of situations and do not comply with the terms. This usually ends up ruining things for those of us who stay within the rules.

I've been booking PC hotels using the Entertainment card. Sometime they ask for the physical card, sometimes they do not. Sometimes points do post for the stay (though I never expect it).
The rates can be extremely good, at times much more than 50% off than other rates.
Entertainment books can be had around January-February around ~10$. I always buy one, just for the % off flights and movie tickets and it pays itself off.
