Thanks for the heads up.

Wasn't interested until I saw the T&Cs:

No expiration.

At worst, these'll be useful in retirement.

Be sure to read the fine print on these. Seems no points/miles are earned for the stay.

Of course, I mention that only for those who may be thinking along those lines. The discount itself is probably greater than any related reward benefit

Exactly! I wanted to get some Radisson nights for $80 to use in NYC. They only had 50 of those available, and I was late getting to the site this morning.

I picked up 4 nights for $50 each to use for special situations...
When my preferred brand of hotel is too expensive.
When I need a place to sleep on short notice.
When I have some specific location needs.
When I need a basic airport hotel.
Weekend stay in a tourist destination such as Savannah or Asheville.

I'm probably going to wish I got more of these. I hope that they can be used easily for reservations on short notice such as when a flight is canceled due to weather.

I like this: current PDF directory of all properties generated on the fly.

I bought 7 though I never stay at Country Inn, however their selling point is " NO EXPIRATION DATE"

I guess I can store it for yrs

Do you think the Avis deal is worth it though? You can usually priceline a car for much cheaper than that.

it is up to "premium car" category, and can be on weekday which normally is twice more expensive than weekend, not a great deal, but still a ok deal

I bought 10 of these, figuring that there would be times when $50 would be better than any alternative. Like I think they have a well regarded motel in Long Island City, right across from Manhattan. $50 seems like a steal there.

Does anybody know if these certs have capacity controls for usage?

I also bought a few Avis certs, but I doubt they'll save me a lot of money. Hopefully, I'll need a car on a Tuesday or something somewhere and the rates will be high.

I think the radisson cert deal ($80) may be better than country Inn and avis certs since they have 2 hotels in Manhattan

Omni "Daily Getaways" not selling -- any value?

None of the Omni hotel packages have sold out today:

https://dailygetaways.discoveramerica.com/

In my brief consideration of their offer, I didn't see a way to get any "extreme value" out of the deal.

Anyone see an opportunity?
