I saw the ad in the back of The Independent and was kind of pissed of about the small print (ie only 6 rooms at 1 quid per property). However, I was kind of surprised about the great availability mid-week in both Wakefield and Bradford. I have got an hour and a half commute to Leeds from N Lincs and these nights I booked would certainly be a relief. Definitely cheaper than driving!
PS: I have made several bookings, after studying the small print for any "limited to one booking per person" limitations. The system seems to let you book up to 2 nights at the time. Go for three, and the price would go up to 25 pounds per night.
