China Visa in Hong Kong

Here a guide to get the cheapest offers of reliable travel agents

For most nationalities, except the US, Japan travel can handle your visa.
The countries that have no special treatment in China need 750 for a 1 year multiple entry visa, 950 if same day delivery. Details on their website.
Japan Travels website including directions how to get there is
http://www.jta.biz/chinavisa/china_visa.htm

The best place to go as a US passport holder is Shoestring Travel or CITS:
A multiple 6 months visa requires 2 previous F visas in your passport.
A one year multiple requires 1 previous multiple 6 months visa, plus at least 3 entries on that.
Prices: 1 year multiple, same day 2500, next day 2300, 2 days later 2100.

Shoestring Travels: 4/F, Alpha House, 27 Nathan Rd. (Corner Peking Rd)
just outside the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station.
Tel. 2723 2306, Fax 2721 2086, email [email protected]

CITS is slightly cheaper fos US passports that don't require same day delivery:
next day and after 2 days are 200 cheaper than shoestring, same day is 100 more expensive.

CITS TST branch is located right next to the building where shoestring travel is in.
They have a central information number: 27325869, email: [email protected]

Assuming US tourists = US citizens holding US passports. Visa requirements are determined by citizenship/nationality and not permanent residency. US Green Card holders may require visa, depending on their citizenship/nationality.

Check out this:

But you can't go there if you are a US Citizien. Then you would have to check with CITS. www.cits.com.hk But much more expensive Than Jta

So you can get the same day visa, you just need to send your passport early enough to get it at 2 pm. See their website for details. They are in Tsim Sha Tsui east, 10 mins walk from TST MTR Station. If you need a map, PM me your email.

Many hotels have on site travel services that can handle same day visa requests. Just go prepared with the required photos. You can often charge to your room as well. I've done at Sheraton & Marco Polo, both in Kowloon TST.

Thanks for your help
I had contacted in the mean time http://www.hotelinhongkong.net/ and they are able to do it in one day, even on saturday or public holiday for 1600HK$ for the 6 month multi entry visa.
www.jta.biz was sounding very nice too much cheaper. They are able to do it on a saturday but it happens that saturday 1st of July is a public holiday in Hong Kong and they are close that particular day.

Is that true that right now China only issues group visas because of the Olympics?
