HKG Airside to Immigration Possible?
Hi all; I'm flying into Hong Kong with a long layover. I'm hoping to, upon arrival, use the sterile transfer and get breakfast and freshen up at one of the airside lounges. From there, is it possible to access the immigration lanes and head into the city to do stuff before my next flight? I've done this at Changi airport before, but it's not clear to me from the HKG layout how I'd get to immigration from the airside area.

I believe you have to be escorted to immigration. Who are you flying with? If on Cathay there is a huge thread on this subject on the Cathay Pacific forum. Regards TBS |
