AF flight - how early can on check in?

I have a friend who is flying HKG-CDG-GRU on AF and the flight leaves at 2325. My flights leaves at 1145am and he might go to the airport with me. How early can he check his bags so he can go inside?

Thanks

If you take the airport express, your friend can check in at Kowloon Station or Hong Kong Station, get rid of their bags & obtain a boarding pass there.

You may be able to check in late morning as the KLM flight will be getting ready for departure, but you're guaranteed to be able to sort things out in at the airport express station.

That said, I'm not sure I could find a reason to trade a day in HK with 12hrs of doing not much at all at the airport. Life is too short!

FYI - once your friend has entered airside, it would be practically impossible to come back out.

In other words, your friend will be stuck in airside for the rest of the day.

if you are sick you may have to produce a note from the docs to clear you from flying.
