Does Shekou- HKG Ferry offer a view of the new Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge

I am planning a trip to TPE for my girlfriend and her parents based in Shenzhen. Her father wants to see the new bridge for some reason. I thought a great way to satisfy that is taking the ferry from Shekou - HKG ferry and flying out of HKG.

Does anyone know if the ferry offers a view or crosses under the bridge?

Thanks.

No the bridge starts from the southwest corner of the airport and the ferry will approach from the north into the northeast corner. You might catch a glimpse of it in the distance

I haven't done it but there was an article in the SCMP recently about tour companies offering trips. One of these might help:

The ferry that gets closest to the HK end of the bridge is the local one that runs a few times a day between Tung Chung and Tai O, but I guess that doesn't really fit with your plans.

Er, sometimes. The ferries take the route north of Lantau (which does go under the bridge) or the route south of Lantau (which doesn't) at the captain's discretion. I don't think there's a way of knowing in advance which way any particular ferry will go.

Thanks for all the responses. My girlfriend's father is mid 70s and wants to marvel at the engineering much like the tours that are popping up. As the bridge gets finished and used, I'm sure there will be more tour boats popping up. Sounds like the Shekou ferry is not a good way to see the bridge.
