Luggage drop off at HK Station after OLCI?

I have a CX flight coming up to YYZ and have checked in online 48 hours prior (day after tomorrow). I plan on taking the MTR Airport Express at HK station on the day of the flight. Can I go to HK station tomorrow (day before, but within 24 hours of departure time) and just drop my luggage off at the check in counter?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, anytime the day before your flight as you are flying to Canada not USA. Per CX website:

In-town check-in

By going to Hong Kong International Airport via Airport Express (AEL), you may choose to check in at either Hong Kong or Kowloon station of the MTR. You can simply check in and collect your boarding pass as early as one day in advance (meaning any time after the counter has opened on the morning of the previous day before your flight) or as late as 90 minutes before departure.

Please note that in-town check-in is not available for passengers travelling to the United States (with the exception of those travelling on Flight CX888 to New York/JFK via Vancouver). Find out more

Yes you can check your luggage at the counter at Hong Kong Station. However, don't leave it too late (90-min before departure cut-off), and allow for a possible queue.

It's just those flying to the US on CX who can't do this.

To select a seat if you aren't able to do so (without paying extra) at the time of booking
To reduce the chance of being offloaded or downgraded from an overbooked flight
