Buying Airport Express/MTR passes ahead of time

I'm looking at buying AE/MTR passes ahead of time, since the price is more attractive. Looks like I'd need to bring with me a printout of the receipt to exchange it for the Octopus cards with the passes.

Is this doable late at night, though? Our flight arrives around 11pm.

Customer service counter are open same time as train hours.

There are single trip vouchers and there are Octapus cards. Both can be used to pay AEx fare.

The heavily discounted online purchases are single tickets and ARE NOT STANDARD OCTAPUS CARDS.

Yes, good point, I'm already familiar with these passes. They have one or two AE trips, plus three days of unlimited MTR use.
