Macau to HKIA Ferry Question

Would someone be able to advise if the below is possible:

We're hoping to take the first ferry of the day from Macau to HKIA, check-in our bags (BA flight) and then spend the day at Disneyland before flying back to LHR that evening.

Is this as straightforward as I imagine it, or will we run into trouble?

It is not impossible, but not proper. When you arrive at HKIA on the ferry, you'll already be airside. You need some sort of escort to get back to the ARRIVALS level and then clear HK Immigration. Most people having to get back into Hong Kong will ask for escort at their airline lounge.

It's much easier to just take the regular ferry to Hong Kong Island, check-in at the Airport Express station and drop your bags. Take the MTR to Disney, and then on your way to airport, take MTR back to Tsing Yi and switch to Airport Express to "use up" the AE tickets you bought to use the check-in service.

Or just forfeit the Airport Express tickets and take bus direct to airport from Disney.

Those are the proper and straight-forward ways to do it.

I'll take your words a step further and state that this is HIGHLY frowned upon by the ferry people.

Won't be an issue with ferry people if OP and family go to airline lounge, have breakfast, and then suddenly decide they want to go to Disney for a while.

BA check-in at the airport doesn't open until 1930 so the answer is no, or go to HK station as advised.

You sure BA doesn't have a contract agent at SkyPier that's open?

In fact, BA is one of the airlines that Turbojet offers through check-in at Macau.
