Also be careful on your return from Macau as to your ferry terminal. A couple of years ago I got on the 'ferry terminal' bus from Wynn Macau and was deposited at the 'ferry'. After going through some pretty long lines (it was at the end of the Chinese New Year), immigration kept asking me for my visa and saying I couldn't get back to China without one. Long story short, I had been left at the wrong terminal, with ferries to the mainland-- NOT Hong Kong. Compounding this issue, were the crowds and the almost complete lack of english speakers. After about 2 hours of run arounds, I was finally back in a taxi back to the HK ferries

Are there ATMs between arriving gate and Skypier? I assume credit card is fine for ferry, but since we spend less than two days in Macau, then back to Hong Kong, we might just get some HKD after we land. Also I heard in Macau HKD is accepted as well as MOP?
And to confirm, if we want to go into city to take Macau ferry from there, taxi or A11 bus is best?
Thanks again for help.

All your other info are correct. HKD is accepted everywhere in Macau, but MOP is not accepted in HK. In fact HKD is the currency they use in the Macanese casinos.
And yes, A11 has a stop right at the Macau Ferry Terminal on HK Island.

I see they are running this promotion from the airport to Macau if you use echeckin.
http://www.turbojet.com.hk/eng/promo...tail.asp?id=20
They state to just show your echeckin boarding pass onboard.....what are the odds that this will work as designed? Any experience using such promotions?

If you're willing to sit in Y 15% off for ICBC might be better.

I will arrive at HKIA on 17 September 2012 at 09:05 AM (United flight). I will then be going to Macau. Does anyone know what the baggage allowance for the turbojet ferry is? What is the charge for excess baggage?
It appears that Air to Sea one piece of check-in baggage free of charge and excess baggage charges are: HK$60 for the first 2 pieces and HK$90 per piece thereafter.
Does this mean that one can check three bags for HK$60.00?

I have a reservation on the Taipa-HKIA ferry tomorrow, but with CotaiJet.
Does anyone have any first hand experience of how strict they are on baggage for sea-air? I have 2 carry-ons (backpack and rollaboard) which I'm allowed with AC for all my flights. Can I not carry 2 bags on the boat? If I HAVE to check 1 all the way through then I have to, but it also shows a limit of 4kg for the carryon. There is no way that I could get it that low just with my computer and camera! I booked First class for an extra 50MOP hoping it might help a little .
Thanks

So it sounds like that you don't have to worry about your check in luggage at HKG and just give them the luggage tag from the airline and they will transfer it to the ferry and you will pick up your luggage at the macau ferry terminal?
Please correct me if i am wrong, i will be there in NOV and just want to visit macau for a weekend.

I feel that a self walk is good enough. The Macanese Govenment has nice maps and brochures on the World Heritage sites that have enough information for most visitors.
