HK Airport - World Trade Centre Club
I have just been offered free membership to this:
http://www.wtchkia.com/facilities.html
Does anyone know it, use it and if so is it recommended? How easy is it to get to once you are at the airport and how much of a layover do you realistically need to make going there worthwhile without too much of a rush?
The standard fees seem very expensive so I assume it is pretty nice?
Thanks for any guidance.

This sounds less like a social club and more like a place to have business meetings. there are similar 'clubs' at other airports. One example is the Frankfurt Airport Club. Usually it is full with headhunters talking to candidates and investment bankers meeting with targets.
These places usually have a lot of meeting rooms.

Yes clearly there is a business element to it, but the lounges/bars/terrace look pretty nice in this particular club, so I was hoping someone would have used it. I think next time I am flying out with a bit of time to spare I will go and check it out.

If you read their membership info, many of the membership categories include meet/greet/escort at the gate for inbound flights. That might have some value although paying HK$500-1200 a month (unless it is a truly free membership) is a steep for that service unless you enter through HKG an awfully lot.
