Yes- looks very nice, however with rates ranging from 900-1500 USD per night, this will be a tough sell given that the Park Hyatt, the Peninsula, and the Four Seasons are all frequently around 250 USD.

Can't wait to see this one, except I'm not using anything but points if at all. Probably worth a stroll in the hotel before even thinking about how many points it will cost.

I used a Q3FN for a night in December. Got a WALDORF RIVER SUITE that sells for about $1300 ai. Great use of a cert if the pictures of this property reflect reality.

Just called DD desk and the agent said can't make any Reward Reservation yet. I called twice and got the same agent - guess small team during late night. I will try again tomorrow. But was wondering if any one else got lucky and be able to use their Q3FN cert at this upcoming new Waldorf at Shanghai.

The only way to top this is if you got a Diamond DSA and then got the points. :D

Diamand Force --- Failed

I end up got an agent to put in a Diamance Force for my request. After 1 week, I got a call back and state I can't do it until the hotel is open.

I guess Chapel Hill Guy really got lucky booking a room.

I started calling near the end of May asking about an award booking, but I was always told there was no way to book it.

So I called every week and on July 1 got an agent who booked it using the Q3FN.

Very lucky indeed.
