How long should it take to get a Diamond card?

We qualified for Diamond in July but still haven't seen a new card. Is this normal?

I recommend sending a note to Adam B ...
HHonors did not send my Diamond/2000 card
until (I think maybe) June. Adam & crew
fixed it promptly.

I recommend carrying both the card and a
printout of the Diamond benefits. Some
properties are amazingly uninformed and
you have to ask/educate/insist on the
Diamond entitlements.

What do I need to do to get a Diamond card???

We became diamond in Hilton last July but still have not received cards. I have, called, posted, faxed and talked to Adam's associate, Stacey. Everyone says, "Oh, we are so sorry. We will take care of it right away". Then nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Hello all. First of all -- my apologies for the delays you've experienced in receiving your materials. Please e-mail me the relevant details, including your account number, and I'll make sure that you receive them ASAP.

Again -- sorry for any frustration this has caused.

Best regards,

Adam

I qualified in July, and got my kit a few weeks after that. Then I receievd another kit in September. Oh well, nice to have two cards.

My only peeve is the 'linking' of the double air points for American AAdvantage members who are also Platinum. The AA guidebook says that I should be getting double miles on every HHonors stay. AA says that HHonors should fix this and HHonors says that it's AA's problem. Well, you get the picture ...

Still no double air points.

Actually claiming this promo became a
game/challenge for me. To this day I am
uncertain who fixed what ... but I am
automagically receiving the bonuses for
each stay.

What seemed to break the logjam was getting
the name of the rep at each firm and always
calling them rather than taking whoever was
next in the VRU queue.

Our diamond cards arrived via Federal Express only two days after posting here.

Thanks, I believe, to the attentions of Webflyer staff. Thank you very kindly.
