Can anyone confirm what the current shuttle times are?

The only recentish ones I can find says the only shuttles departing Vaitape are 1130, 1200, 1630, 2100 and departing Conrad 800, 1100, 1315, 1800? Is it correct that shuttles are so infrequent?

Correct except for the first departure from Vaitape. It's at 10:30 instead of 11:30.

They blame covid but it also conveniently only allows going to town for dinner on the double priced evening transfer.

Seems like you could make a decent penny arranging private transfers for people for the low low price of only $30. I’m sure the hotel would catch on, but it’s not like businesses don’t already do this for the snorkel/jet ski tours, etc. I’m assuming other hotels are charging for transportation too? I’ve never looked.

At the property now. Here's the updated shuttle details. Daytime trips into Vaitape are now complimentary (I think that's a recent change?):

Right? I'm floored. Still no cheap way to do off site dinner, though.

complimentary daytime trips is a real positive. Thanks for that update!! I Wish they had those on even a fraction of our previous trips. I just hope the complimentary trips are still in place when we return in a couple months!

4,900 XPF is RT? Does that mean if you go BEFORE 6pm, but come back AFTER 6pm, you still pay 4,900 XPF?

It says 4900 XPF is the roundtrip price. I would assume that even if you depart the Conrad before 6pm but return later you would be charged the full price. But, I'd be happy to confirm that tomorrow with the property.

This is how the pricing worked in January. The complimentary shuttle during the daytime is definitely a welcome change. I'd still be likely to do the shuttle service directly from the airport as to not have to fuss with the luggage upon arrival and departure.

40 steps from aircraft to terminal, an additional 30 steps to your resort rep inside the terminal, and lastly an additional 20 steps from terminal to the boat outside the terminal.
