Thank you all for the replies re seaplane costs. Just wanted to check if there was an alternative but I can see from the replies, there isn't.

You can get there via private boat transfer, such as the Dhoni Stella which a family that we met used.

https://www.charterindex.com/luxury-...-stella-custom

They rented the boat for three day (fully crewed, with three meals per day excluding alcoholic drinks) for about $3,000 / 3 days but allowed them to explore some of the smaller / intimate islands between Male and the Conrad. That said, these are one way prices.

Actually suits me as based on the photos I saw, I prefer the older design.
I reckon they will hold off until after high season to resume work on them.
Where did you see photos of the renovated DBV? Would you say a non renovated DBV is worth an upgrade over a renovated BV?

some photos were posted in this thread a few months back, maybe may/June timeframe ?

non renovated DBV is a good step-up over the BV, but I guess it all comes down to cost, so ymmv

Some of the 200’s are also done, but not sure how many. Seem to be working their way down the beach towards Ithaa

Re prices, the $368 rate is actually $386 and only available for 1, 2 or 3 nights with the exception of a 4-night stay from Nov 28 - Dec 02.
The whole of March is now $515.

Not sure if you guys follow Eric Damier on IG but he has been in the Muraka for the last 3 days or so. Check it out, looks as awesome as expected. Some also posted on Earthpix via IG.

Don’t think he had to pay for it... Probably was invited by Conrad.

Shame they're inviting SEO hucksters and not actual travel bloggers.

Hi, I tried to make a reservation for a special dinner, that was advertised in the Festive Planner. I first wrote an email to Thomas Matrat, but didn´t get a reply. After that I tried the Email of Ali Rauha (both email adresses are listed in the wiki), but also didn´t get a reply. I know it is more than 2 weeks before dinner, but at least I would expect a reply.
Any other email-adresses that I could try?
