Hampton missing room numbers

The Hampton where I am this week is missing room numbers. It goes 216 218 224 226 228 etc.

What happened to 220 & 222?

I've heard of missing floors in buildings and missing rows in aircraft, but this is the first I've noticed missing rooms.

Two rooms combined to make a junior suite or something of that sort?

That's really strange. I guess the other floors are the same way? I can't imagine why they'd do that. If it were me, I'd pose the question to the front desk staff just out of curiosity...especially if I was staying at the same property for a week.

Staying at HI Commerce,ga at the moment and on 3rd floor room numbers start at 315.They are renovating-appears nearly complete-maybe chopped a wing off?
On the positive side they upgraded us to a spa room and even though preference is for extra points at HI got water plus 2 snacks. This also happened at the HI Grand junction,co on this trip.

I spend 1-2 weeks here every month. Mostly the HIS, but sometimes Hilton or ES on the other side of 271. When I need/want to mattress hop, it's pretty easy.

Yeah, easy for a mattress run, but it's in the 'burbs...the snooty, snooty burbs - and I'm from the Upper East Side!
