Different settings for different hotels

Good Morning,

I am told that the powers that be read this forum, so here is my suggestion.

I appreciate it that HHonors allows members to adjust their VIP benefits per brand. But what would like to adjust my room preferences by brand as well.

I prefer to stay in a high floor away from the elevator in a Hilton/Embassy/2Tree, but I want to stay near the exit on the 1st floor in a HGI/HI/Homewood.

Doe anyone else feel this way? I am usually able to fix it with the desk clerk, but its a hassle for everyone. And the desk does not always read the comments I leave in the reservations comments space.

Sounds perfectly sane to me - make sure you can get out quickly if you need to, at the lower end of the market ;-)

I would also appreciate more granularity regarding selections. I wish I could have it in my profile that I don't want a room with an adjoining door.

I also don't always want a high floor. In some 3 or 4 story hotels, part of the top floor is smoking, part is non-smoking. I only want to be put on floors that are only non-smoking.

I would like to be able to change my preference per each reservation, not just each hotel.

Sometimes I want to pump miles into a family members FF account to keep it active or sometimes I want free internet.
