How strict is requalification for Diamond?

Question for the gurus - by my calculations I am going to be about 400 base points short of requalifying for Diamond on base points. I will not requalify on stays or nights. Should I be worried? Should I be doing a mattress run, or charging something expensive to my room next week? or do you think they will give me a break? I have a reservation already confirmed for an expensive 7 night stay at Hilton AdT in Paris in May.

Thanks much,

Truly

If you want to be 100 percent sure, do the mattress run and be done with it. Otherwise you are depending on a CSA to bend the rules for you.

If you are in doubt, then spend that extra $40 next week (or $27 if you are on "HHonors Points and HHonors Points").

Then it's done!

Has to be the $40 - pts + pts does not go towards elite qualification (base pts only)
