I'm at 12 stays for the year, so 4 more would earn gold anyway but 50k would be a quick incentive to get those extra 4.

If I were you I'd just sign up again as a new member. I'd get a new account number, gold status, 50000 points, etc. You don't really have anything to lose.

Huh? All new HHonors members get this bonus?? If so, Mrs. Middle_Seat may become a HHonors member and I may stay in hotels under her account.

I'm a United Premier Executive and a current Hilton Gold, and I got this offer today, along with a Gold card good through Sept. 2004.

I received a similar offer through US Air (I am Chairman's Preferred). The bonus is for 25K points for 4 stays.

So what was your promo code? I presume it wasn't AAAQ.

May I ask about that promo code as well?

So basically, you need to have the number in the promo. Exisiting Hilton Numbers (even new ones) will not register for this promotion as GOLD? So if you were not targeted, you are not getting gold??

Just wanted a clarification.

WRONG.

For someone that says what I type goes in one ear and out the other YOU just might try READING the posts above.

I received the offer from AA. I have no AA status and I already had a HHonors account.

Luckily we already had a trip planned to DC this fall and I think I can manage to stay at more than one Hilton property.

Also, we have an award stay in Hawaii in January. Any chance that would count as a stay? We would no doubt have charges to our room during the week.

Thanks,
Deb

So then, the process would be.. sign up for a new account then register that new account for the promotion?

Ok.. will try

EDIT: TRIED AN UNSUCCESSFUL. SIGNED UP FOR A NEW HHONORS ACCOUNT and tried to enter that new number and PIN in.. no GOLD. So, not sure how someone would get GOLD if not targetted? If I enter my existing account.. invalid.. if I enter a new account invalid. So, I assume it is reading off a list of new accounts?

Found some codes.. NAVG gives your Silver on 2 stays, GOLD on 4 stays...
APAE gives you instant SILVER then you need to earn GOLD on the FAST TRACK (I believe 4 stays)

Has anyone successfully added AAAQ to their accounts and not been targeted??
